RELEASE – Billy Hagan Expands Role at Gryphon

Columbus, Ohio, January 17, 2025 – Gryphon USA, a nationwide real estate auction management firm, is proud to announce that Billy Hagan as expanded his role with the company, now managing real estate auctions throughout the Eastern United States.

Billy, who joined Gryphon in 2018, has demonstrated exceptional expertise and leadership in the auction industry, and this new position underscores his continued contributions to the growth and success of the auction industry.

Billy Hagan began his auction career in 1997, working for his father-in-law’s company, T & S Auctions. After several years of hands-on experience, he became a licensed auctioneer in 2004 and quickly ascended to a leadership role within the company. Licensed in five states, Hagan has since earned a stellar reputation as a trusted auctioneer and personal property appraiser, conducting auctions throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States.

A graduate of the Indiana College of Auctioneers, Hagan has advanced his knowledge and skills over the years, becoming an instructor at his alma mater, where he teaches courses on Ethics, Marketing, and Online Auctions. He holds several prestigious designations, including Certified Auctioneer Institute (CAI), Auction Marketing Management (AMM), and Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA). He is an active member of the National Auctioneers Association, the Indiana Auctioneers Association, and Rotary International.

Hagan’s extensive expertise was further solidified when he became Gryphon’s lead USPAP-compliant appraiser in 2022, following the completion of his GPPA designation. He has since taken on increased responsibilities, first as the manager of all commercial equipment liquidations and more recently in overseeing real estate auctions in Ohio and Florida starting in 2024.

In his expanded role, Hagan will assist with the company’s growth, conducting auctions for commercial, residential, and investment properties across the country. His exceptional skills and in-depth knowledge of the auction industry will serve to enhance Gryphon’s offerings in the real estate market, providing clients with trusted, professional services for their auction needs.

Billy Hagan, a native of Winter Garden, FL, now resides in Pekin, Indiana, where he continues to build his career while being active in his local community, including serving on the Washington County Chamber of Commerce.
